A quaint neighborhood, one of the first in the city to be built during the building boom of the 1900's, it is comprised of tree-lined brick streets dotted with a variety of homes in varying architectural styles including Craftsman Bungalows, Colonial Revival, Prairie, Victorian and Italianate. Two prestigious island communities located in the southern part of Pinellas county. Residents of Bayway Isle, a gated and deed restricted community enjoy a quiet island lifestyle while remaining close to shops, schools and the vibrant downtown. Most homes are either waterfront or are afforded water views of Boca Ciega Bay. Tierra Verde an island community at the entry to Ft. De Soto Park boasts many fine upscale waterfront homes providing a relaxed and opulent lifestyle. This man-made island is comprised of 350 lush tropical acres surrounded by the sparkling waters of Boca Ciega Bay. Isla boasts a championship 18-hole golf course and is surrounded by luxury condominium villas, townhouses and hi-rise buildings. It is conveniently located to several white sugar-sand beaches. A small shopping village provides necessities.
